Cool! I tried to learn Spanish at one point but gave up. How much did you use the Netflix plugin? Which one was the most helpful besides immersion? Sorry for the bombardment.
I used it once my level was around B1 and I used it almost every time I watched netflix for around 6 months… i could click on the word and it showed me the meaning! Was very useful!
Also, for me, taking 1:1 classes was a game changer! But it is an investment 😅
I think so. I took a break for a while but I would like to try eventually. I would love to learn Spanish, Italian and German someday. We will see if that happens haha
Hey Irene! Thanks for liking my Note yesterday. I've lived in Mexico for basically 3 years now and managed to learn a very basic level of Spanish. Enough to get by. I married someone here and we speak in Spanish all day long. It's cool to hear your story. What worked for me was Rosetta Stone and books. Lots of books! I still have a little ways to go to reach fluency, but I'm already about halfway there, probably. Cheers! I'm subscribing.
Hey Thomas! Wow, its soo cool you are able to talk to your spouse in Spanish!
I have never heard about Rosetta Stone, I will check it out! Thank you for the recommendation! :)

Are you planning on picking up Spanish again? :)
